Oct 31 – Nov 6

Next up for film is Burn After Reading, the new Coen Brothers comedy, beginning Friday, Oct 31. We're booked for film through the end of November, so please check here to see what's coming up.

Frozen River has its last screening tonight (Thursday) at 7:30pm.

In November our Classics on Sundays series features Barbara Stanwyck and we're kicking things off with Ladies They Talk About (1933), one of the first women in prison films. More info is below.

This week's Children's Series film is Howl's Moving Castle, a brilliant Hayao Miyazaki film based on an equally brilliant novel by Diana Wynne Jones. Details are below.

On Election Eve and Day we invite you to escape the current election and revisit the political climate of 32 years ago via two very different films about the Watergate scandal. We're screening Alan J. Pakula's taught drama, All the President's Men (1976) on Tuesday at 3pm; and Andrew Fleming's hilarious Watergate send-up Dick (1999) on Monday at 8:30pm and Tuesday at 5:30pm. Hope to see you there!

Lastly, mark your calendars — next week is First Friday Fright Night (Nov 7) and we're screening the wonderfully silly Young Frankenstein at 9:45pm.
