This week's Classic on Sunday is King Kong sponsored by Frees Insurance, celebrating 75 years in business this year with a classic film that came out 75 years ago (1933). The film starts at 2pm.

Our Children's Summer Series continues Tuesday at 10:30am with The Great Holtzie. If you happen to have the August issue of Philadelphia Magazine laying around, turn to page 143 where you will see The Great Holzie listed as the Best Comedian for Kids on this year's Best of Philly list! And then, flip forward to page 147 where you'll find the Colonial listed as one of the Best Places to Visit Off the Beaten Path! Tickets for The Great Holtzie are $5 per person and can be purchased at the door or in advance at Click & Pledge.

Tickets to Bringing Home the Bacons with the Bacon Brothers band on Friday, Oct 10 at 8pm are now available! This concert is a fundraiser for the Colonial and the French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust. Details will be on our website soon, but in the meantime, if you would like to reserve your tickets you can send a check to the theatre (address is at left) along with your email address and phone number so we can stay in touch with you about the schedule for the evening. There are two price levels for tickets: $100 for the concert only (general admission seating), and $250 for the concert and access to the sound check in the afternoon during which you can reserve your seat for the evening's concert. Please email us with your questions.

Finally, starting on September 1 we're changing our ticket prices, just a little bit.
