Indy and Marion

Tonight we're showing the last film of our mini Spring Break series — School of Rock (2003) starring Jack Black. This film got terrific reviews from a range of critics, so do read some of them before you decide whether or not to come. You can read David Edelstein's review on our website. We're recommending it for ages 12+. Tomorrow, Friday, the 2009 French Best Foreign Film Oscar nominee The Class begins its run at 7:30PM. Please note that we will be closed for Easter on Sunday.

For the Children's Series on Saturday at 2PM we're showing one of my all time favorite films, Raiders of the Lost Ark, as a double feature with the second Indy film, Indiana Jones at the Temple of Doom. Raiders starts at 12PM and Temple of Doom starts at 2:15PM. Tickets are $6 per person (children and adults) and will get you in to see both films. Raiders is appropriate for ages 8+, but Temple of Doom is a bit scarier and best for 10+.

We're closed for the holiday this Sunday. But, next Sunday (Apr 19) at 2PM we're keeping the Ealing Studios comedies rolling with The Man in the White Suit (1952). Please note that all the Ealing films this month will be screened on DVD as no 35mm prints were available.

Calling all BlobFest fans: we need your help! Please click on the BlobFest link at left for information about volunteering. We've begun posting info about this year's fest on our website. Keep checking back for updates!

Repo! The Genetic Opera, our First Friday Fright Night film for this month, is finally here! Thanks to all who have called to let us know how excited you are for this film. Repo is tomorrow at 10:10PM. Please note the unusual start time. The box office will be open on Friday beginning at 7PM so you can stop by to purchase your tickets early if you'd like.

Thanks for your support and we'll see you at the theatre!
