First Friday Fright Night T-Shirt Design

Lucky for us we have the Best Actor and Actress Oscar winning films back to back. The Reader starts tomorrow, Friday, at 7:30PM. Milk has its last screening tonight at 7:30PM. Please note that the film schedule over the next two weeks is a little unusual due to several concerts and special events. Please check our website or call to confirm show times. The Banff Mountain Film Festival is here on Mar 6 & 7 (advance purchase tickets are available through the Philadelphia Rock Gym, not the Colonial). Frost/Nixon starts on Mar 13 and The Wrestler starts on Mar 20.

Due to some scheduling conflicts, tomorrow (Fri, Feb 27) is First Friday Fright Night for March here at the Colonial. We're showing the Italian horror classic Suspiria (1977). This film will be shown on DVD. (I promise I searched high and low for a 35mm print — there just aren't any available). Our thanks to APARTMENT 1014 FILMS for sponsoring this film. We'll unveil our new FFFN t-shirts tomorrow night — on sale for $15 a pop. Thanks to Neo-Pangea for their fantastic design!

This Saturday at 2PM we wrap up our Foreign Film Festival for kids with Casi Casi (2005), a Puerto Rican film in the spirit of Election and Mean Girls — just not quite so mean! We're recommending it for ages 10+. In Spanish with English subtitles.

This Sunday at 2PM we start our run of classics about Spying and Thieving with To Catch a Thief (1955). Spending a Sunday afternoon with Hitchcock, Cary Grant, Grace Kelly and the French Riveria sounds pretty good to me!

We still have tickets available for the Al Stewart concerts on Thu, Mar 5 and Sun, Mar 8. Tickets are $27.50 – $36.50.

Thanks for your support and we'll see you at the theatre!
