Spend a Week at the Colonial: Dec 11 – 17

Coco Before Chanel has its last screening tonight at 7:30PM. Fantastic Mr. Fox starts tomorrow, Friday at 7:30PM and I am very excited to see it! Red Cliff starts on Dec 18 followed by An Education starting on Dec 26. The rest of this weekend is chock full of great stuff, so read on.

This Saturday at 2PM we will all laugh heartily at the John Cassidy and David Smith show. We have already sold nearly half our tickets and are expecting a very large crowd, so I would encourage you to buy your tickets online before Saturday. That way, you can bypass the box office window and go right through to the usher tearing tickets. You can buy your tickets here.

Our classic holiday films start this Sunday, Dec 13 with White Christmas at 2PM. Thanks to The Columbia Bar and Grille for sponsoring this film for the second year in a row!

Tickets are still available for these December shows and can be purchased online.

New concert tickets go on sale this Saturday! Two Funny Philly Guys on Mar 19; Entrain with Slo Mo on Mar 20; and Richie Havens on Apr. Buy your tickets online at ticketweb.com.

Our Third Annual Robert Burns Memorial Whisky Tasting is set for Fri, Jan 29 at 6PM. This event is a fun way to support the Colonial (and drink whisky, and eat chocolate and cheese, and socialize – need we say more?!) This year all proceeds are going to help fund our Classics on Sundays film series. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online. (They make a pretty cool gift!)

Finally, don’t forget the Firebird Festival is this Saturday! Things get started around 4PM all over the downtown. The lighting of the bird is at 8PM at the Justice Center Building. The Firebird Improv Orchestra will perform at the Colonial at 6PM.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre
