Bright Star has its last screening tonight at 7:30PM. Tomorrow at 7:30PM, it’s The Informant! directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Matt Damon as the biochemist who aids the FBI in busting ADM on a massive price-fixing scheme. A Serious Man starts on Wed, Nov 25.

This Sunday the Jimmy Stewart classics continue with a restored print of Vertigo at 2PM.

On Sunday night, Point Entertainment presents The Outlaws. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online, by phone at 866-468-7619, or at the Colonial box office with cash or check only.

For the rest of November, the Young Audiences programs focus on the work of Roald Dahl. The new film Fantastic Mr. Fox comes out in wide release (not at the Colonial) next weekend, but you can see marvelous film versions of his wry humor starting this Saturday at 2PM with Matilda. We’re also showing James and the Giant Peach on Nov 21 and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) on Nov 28.

Our Third Annual Robert Burns Memorial Whisky Tasting is set for Fri, Jan 29 at 6PM. This event is a fun way to support the Colonial (and drink whisky, and eat chocolate and cheese, and socialize – need we say more?!) This year all proceeds are going to help fund our Classics on Sundays film series. Tickets are $100 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Click here to download a pdf about the event.

Teen Programs update: We had to cancel our screening of How to Be on Nov 25 because of a scheduling conflict.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
