The Informant! is staying with us through Tue, Nov 24. A Serious Man starts on Wed, Nov 25, and Coco Before Chanel starts on Dec 4. Please note that we will be closed on Thu, Nov 26 for Thanksgiving.

We have some wonderful events coming up – some even this weekend! Click on the names below for more information. Tickets are still available for all shows.

This Sunday the Jimmy Stewart classics continue with Anatomy of a Murder at 2PM. Our thanks to Royal Bank America for sponsoring this film! Popcorn is their treat!

For the rest of November, the Young Audiences programs focus on the work of Roald Dahl. The new film Fantastic Mr. Fox comes out in wide release this weekend, but you can see a marvelous film version of his wry humor here on Saturday at 2PM: James and the Giant Peach. We’re also showing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) on Nov 28 at 2PM.

Our Third Annual Robert Burns Memorial Whisky Tasting is set for Fri, Jan 29 at 6PM. This event is a fun way to support the Colonial (and drink whisky, and eat chocolate and cheese, and socialize – need we say more?!) This year all proceeds are going to help fund our Classics on Sundays film series. Tickets are $100 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Click here to download a pdf about the event.

Teen Programs update: We had to cancel our screening of How to Be on Nov 25 because of a scheduling conflict.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
