Special thanks to Lbs. director Matthew Bonifacio and writer/actor Carmine Famiglietti for joining us at our film discussion last night. The film was great and it was so interesting to hear about making the film and breaking into the movie business, as well as learning and talking about addiction in general. Thanks to Matt and Carmine for visiting Phoenixville!

One last chance to see Lbs. tonight (Thursday) at 7:30PM. 9500 Liberty starts tomorrow, Friday; Exit through the Gift Shop starts on Jul 23, Please Give on Jul 30 and Winter’s Bone on Aug 20.

BlobFest 2010 was a little wet, but the rain stopped long enough for us to have a great running out. If you haven’t seen it yet, here is a great video. BlobFest is over but we still have plenty of t-shirts and posters. Stop by and get one or pick one up the next time you’re at the movies.

We’ve got an extra Fright Night screening this month: Mystery Science Theatre 3000: Zombie Nightmare on Fri, Jul 16 at 9:45PM. Also, good news cult fans: Rocky Horror Picture Show tickets are on sale. Get your tickets for the October 16th show now.

Our Children’s Summer Series continues on Tue, Jul 20 at 10:30AM with another great kids band – all the way from Seattle – Recess Monkey. Get a little taste of what’s in store by checking out their YouTube channel. Tickets are $7 per person in advance, and $8 per person at the door. Children 2 and under are free. Online is the fastest, cheapest way to buy your tickets – and you will avoid the line at the box office!

The Classics on Sundays series is taking a short hiatus in July due to the 4th and BlobFest. The classics will be back in August with a bang – our theme is A Festival Crowd and we kick things off with Don’t Look Back on Aug 1 at 2PM.

Our TEDTalks Tuesday salon next week is sold out. If you have already purchased tickets but are now unable to attend, please call me (Kirsten) at 610-917-1228 so that we can make those seats available to those who can.

Finally, we have some spots available for our Chinese Lantern Workshop for kids ages 10+. This is a truly unique program lead buy Hua Hua Zhang, master puppet designer and choreographer. You can see her perform her show East Meets West on Tue, Jul 27 at 10:30 as part of our children’s summer series. All workshop participants are invited to come to the performance as our guests.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
