Thank you to everyone who came to the TEDxPhoenixville conference last Saturday! What a wonderful program filled with exciting ideas and entertainment. For those who didn’t attend (and those who would like to see the talks again), we will be posting videos of the talks on the TEDx channel on YouTube. The first video of poet/presenter Rives is already posted here.

This week we continue with Get Low. If you haven’t had a chance to get to the theatre to see it, this is a great opportunity to watch great performances by Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek and Bill Murray.

For October, our Classic Series is appropriately themed “Other Wordly Horror.” We begin the month with the 1942 release of Cat People starring Simone Simon, the wife with a frightening secret. Join us each Sunday this month and get scared!

October also marks the beginning of this year’s Young Audiences Series. All shows are Saturdays at 2PM. Advance ticket prices for each show in this Series are $7. Tickets purchased at the box office are $8. We begin on Saturday Oct 9 with the Segal Puppet Theatre. The weekly schedule can be found at the Colonial website at the Young Audiences link.

Remember we have a lot a amazing live acts coming up in October, November and December. We have the legendary Eric Burdon and The Animals Wednesday, Oct 27. Guitar Masters, featuring Eric Johnson, Andy McKee and Peppino D’Agostino is Wednesday, Oct 13, 7:30PM. Also, be sure to check out comedienne Suzanne Westenhoefer on Oct 23 and musician Leo Kottke on Dec 10. Read about them below or at the website. Tickets on sale now.
