Spend a Week at the Colonial Aug 12 – Aug 18

We are holding over Buck one more week! This beautiful and inspiring film observes Zen-like horse trainer Buck Brannaman as he gives various workshops across the country. Next Friday we will start The Tree of Life.

This Sunday we continue featuring Elizabeth Taylor in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The film garnered six Oscar nominations, including nods for Best Picture, Director, Screenplay, and Cinematography, as well as for the two stars. The cast includes strong performances Paul Newman, Burl Ives and Judith Anderson.

One of our most popular children’s performers, David Smith will be joining us Tuesday. Tickets are still available online, at the box office and over the phone.

Join us Tuesday for our final TEDx salon of the year! Our theme is the Best of TEDxPhoenixville, during which we’ll show you a few of our favorite speakers from last year’s event. After the salon join us at Majolica for savory appetizers paired with Sly Fox beer and to chat with your fellow TEDxers. We encourage you to buy your tickets in advance online as the last two salons have sold out! While you’re at it, pick up a few tickets for the main event: TEDxPhoenixville, Sep 24, 10AM-3PM.

Meet me this Sunday, Aug 14 for the Sunday Theatre Tour at the ticket booth at 1PM. We will explore the theatre, learn a little Colonial history and finish in time to get tickets and popcorn for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. See you then!

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
