Spend a Week at the Colonial Sep 30 – Oct 6

We are featuring another film from the UK this week (Ireland this time). The Guard stars Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle in this comedy/thriller. Tonight is your last chance to see The Trip at 7:30.

Saturday we’re debuting a new event: Everest to Antarctica. Join us for half the day or the whole day for film and discussion with Everest summiteer Paul Deegan and polar explorer Felicity Aston. For more details and tickets, click here.

In keeping with our October creepy classics, our theme for the Classic film series this month is “The Kids Are Not Alright,” films featuring scary children. We begin this Sunday with The Bad Seed, a 1956 chiller.

The docs are back! Join us for the opening of our 2011-12 documentary season with the Maysles brothers Grey Gardens. This is a fascinating look at Jackie Onassis’ eccentric relatives Edith and Edie Bouvier Beale as chronicled by Albert and David Maysles.

Join us Thursday as Point Entertainment presents Uriah Heep. There are still tickets available for this remarkable classic hard rock band. You can get them online at the box office or by phone.

Don’t forget Rocky Horror is coming Saturday Oct 8! We still have tickets but they are going fast, so be sure to get yours soon!

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
