Spend a Week at the Colonial Jan 13 – Jan 19

Our new feature film this week is Melancholia starring Kirsten Dunst, Alexander Skarsgård, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Kiefer Sutherland. It is the story of a couple celebrating their marriage at a sumptuous party, which is a fiasco; meanwhile, a planet called Melancholia is heading directly towards Earth. Please note that Friday’s opening night screening is at 7PM (rather than the usual 7:30). Tonight is your last chance to see Le Havre at 7:30.

Friday the 13th we present Friday the 13th Part VII at 9:45PM. It is sponsored by EB Art Guide and we MAY have a special guest. Check the website for more details!

The kids (AND adults) will enjoy our Shorts for Kids this Saturday at 2PM. Sunday we’ve got a full day of entertainment for you! It starts at 2PM with the great Clint Eastwood in the first of our “Man With No Name” classic series: A Fistful of Dollars. We follow at 4:30 with the return of the documentaries in 2012 with Hell and Back Again.

Academy Award season is approaching fast! That means the return of our 8th Annual Members’ Oscar Party on Feb 26. There are a few VERY important changes this year: the pre-show party in the lobby will be limited to the first 150 RSVPs and will begin at 7PM. The remaining members are invited to join us at 8:30PM. Be sure to go to the Oscar Party page on the website for those and other changes and we’ll see you at the Oscars!

There are only 5 more spaces left for the 5th Annual Robert Burns Memorial Whisky Tasting on Jan 27th. Join us at this wonderful event whose proceeds support the Classic Film series. Call Mary before they are all gone!!

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
