Spend a Week at the Colonial Apr 19 – Apr 25

Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning (Apr 19) at 10AM for two Tommy Emmanual concerts – Jun 27 and Jun 28 at 8PM. As always, the best way to buy tickets is online.

Our new feature film this week will be Lore. It is the story of a teenager named Lore, who tries to lead her siblings to safety in post-war Germany. Tonight is your last chance to see The Gatekeepers at 7:30PM.

Friday night (Apr 19) following our feature, we will screen our Cult Cinema film, Five Fingers of Death. Join us for the first Kung Fu feature of our cult series!

Monday night (Apr 22), in place of our regular feature, we’ve got a special Earth Day screening of Trashed. This documentary stars narrator/host Jeremy Irons, who takes us on a journey to discover the extent and effects of the global waste problem. Please note that the screening time will be 7:30PM.

Saturday afternoon at 2PM our kids’ series welcomes the return of Segal Puppet Theater with Let’s Recycle!. Bring the kids (preschoolers through 4th grade) for this 40 minute interactive puppet show.

Our classic film Sunday at 2PM is Notorious. It stars Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman, with Claude Rains (in this Oscar-nominated role) as the evil Nazi spy.

Our first TEDxPhoenixville salon of 2013 is Thursday, Apr 25 at 6:30PM. Salons are BYOB and light refreshments will be served. Our live speaker will be Nate Hoffer, Executive Director of Good Samaritan Shelter. There is very limited seating, so be sure to buy your tickets now!

We’re hiring! The Colonial has a full-time Development Associate position available. You can read all about it here. If interested, please email your resume to Mary by Wednesday, May 8.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
