Spend a Week at the Colonial Aug 30 – Sep 5

In addition to the concerts we announced last week, we are thrilled to announce that tickets go on sale 10AM tomorrow for ukulele virtuoso and composer Jake Shimabukuro, Friday, Mar 28 at 8PM. As always, the best way to buy tickets is online.

Our new feature film this week is Fruitvale Station. The film depicts, within a 24 hour time period, the true story of a deeply flawed young man struggling to turn his life around. Tonight is your last chance to see The Way Way Back at 7:30.

Saturday night at 7PM we start the Italian All Night Splatterfest II. Join us for an entire evening of rarely screened Italian horror cinema.

As we begin the month of September, we introduce our new Classic series theme: playing against type. Our first film is A Face in the Crowd, starring Andy Griffith as a charismatic but contemptible character.

Did you know you can help new patrons find us? Please vote for us as Best Indie Theater on the Philly Hot List. A first place win allows people to get to know our name, will bring them to our theater – and of course we will win them over! To vote, please click HERE. The last few years we won 2nd and 3rd place. There are only 8 more days left to vote and we want to win 1st place! Thanks!

We are closed Monday for the holiday. Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
