Friday night we welcome Steve Earle and the Dukes and Saturday night An Evening with Paula Poundstone. There are still seats left for both concerts, but Paula’s concert is very close to selling out! Be sure to get online and get your tickets while you can.

Saturday at 2PM we are screening A Bucket of Blood, sponsored by John and Carla Schaeffer. Come see this delicious black comedy by director Roger Corman and screenwriter Charles B. Griffith (Little Shop of Horrors).

We are carrying over our feature film, The Place Beyond the Pines. Please note that there will be no screenings Friday or Saturday nights due to concerts.

Sunday we begin our “Book to Film” classic series (best selling books turned into classic films) with Rebecca. Treat yourself to Hitchcock’s first Hollywood film, which earned him a Best Picture Oscar and 11 additional awards.

Have you heard? Paul McCartney is coming to the Colonial – on film that is! Get your tickets now for Rockshow: Wings Over America. The film, in limited release, is a restored & remastered FULL-LENGTH concert from the 1975-76 Wings Over the World tour. This is an absolute can’t miss for any Beatles/McCartney fan. We will open the screening with an introduction by Andre Gardner, on-air personality at WMGK, Philadelphia. One night only – get your tickets here.

We’re hiring! Time is running out to apply for the full-time Development Associate position. You can read all about it here. If interested, please email your resume to Mary by THIS Wednesday, May 8.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
