Last Friday we completed the transition to our new ticketing and customer management system. We’re still working out some kinks and tweaking some settings, so we appreciate your patience during these next couple of weeks. Check out the online ticketing site at http://tickets.thecolonialtheatre.com. If you click on the My Account link at the upper right of the page you can log in and see your account information including membership, donation and ticketing histories. Members please note: one cool feature of the system is that your member price for film tickets will automatically apply in the shopping cart. Let us know if you have any questions or comments.

The announcement you’ve been waiting for …. tickets for Blobfest 2014 go on sale Friday, May 30 at 10AM! The best way to purchase them is online. Just a reminder that Friday night run out tickets sell out in mere MINUTES (there are only 350 tickets), so not everyone will get in – but you have a whole weekend of Blobby fun!

Friday, Sep 19 Point Entertainment presents Asleep at the Wheel. Tickets for this concert may be purchased online starting Friday, Apr 25 at 10AM.

Our new feature film this week is The Lunchbox. A mistaken delivery in Mumbai’s famously efficient lunchbox delivery system connects a young housewife to an older man in the dusk of his life as they build a fantasy world together through notes in the lunchbox. Tonight is your last chance to see The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Our kids’ film this Saturday at 2PM is The Wizard of Oz, sponsored by Diving Cat Studio and Gallery. There’s no place like the Colonial for this Judy Garland classic!

Our classic film this Sunday is Singin’ in the Rain. Gene Kelly stars as actor Don Lockwood in a silent film production company and cast making a difficult transition to sound.

Sunday, Apr 27 at 4:30, we are screening A Fierce Green Fire, sponsored by CEC Associates. Join us for a fascinating exploration of the history of the environmental movement – grassroots and global activism spanning fifty years from conservation to climate change.

Tickets are on sale now for the One Night Only Comedy and Variety Festival, Saturday, May 17 at 8PM. Purchase tickets online HERE.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
