Spend a Week at the Colonial Aug 1 – Aug 7

Thursday, Oct 16, Point Entertainment presents Shawn Colvin! Tickets go on sale Friday Aug 1 at 10AM. As always, the best way to purchase tickets is online.

We are carrying over our feature film this week, Snowpiercer. The film is set in a future where a failed climate-change experiment kills almost all life on the planet. The only survivors are a lucky few who boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, where a class system emerges. Note that there will be not screening Saturday night due to our sold out screening of Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie. Also note that our next feature film, Boyhood, starts Aug 8.

Following our feature film Friday night, join us for our FFFN film Shaun of the Dead.. A man decides to turn his life around by winning back his ex-girlfriend, reconciling his relationship with his mother, and dealing with an entire community that has returned from the dead to eat the living.

Join us each Sunday afternoon at 2PM this month for our special Classic films centered on World War I. We begin this Sunday with All Quiet on the Western Front. A young soldier (played by Lew Ayres) faces profound disillusionment in the soul-destroying horror of war.

Our Young Audiences show this Tuesday is Segal Puppet Theatre & Co.: The Invasion of the Five Little Monkeys. The show will be 45 minutes of the music and mayhem of 5 Little Monkeys that will drive you bananas.

Wednesday evening at 7:30PM, The Kehillah of Chester County presents Summer Shorts Jewish Film Festival, a five-session film festival and discussion series of selected contemporary international Jewish short films. $6 suggested donation per session. Please call 484-582-0210 or email to make reservations.

Come on down this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
