We will be screening the film Natural Selection, directed by Chad Scheifele, this Friday (tomorrow) at 12:30PM. The filmmakers are looking for feedback from the audience. The film follows Tyler, an innocent teenager struggling to find acceptance as he searches for his place in the world. It is not yet rated but would likely be considered an R for language. THE SCREENING IS FREE, but you MUST RSVP to luann@thecolonialtheatre.com. This is our second opportunity to give input on a movie before final editing: the first one, The Quitter, directed by Matthew Bonifacio, is now opening in New York City.

We are carrying over our feature film The Hundred-Foot Journey. The Kadam family clashes with Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren), proprietress of a celebrated French restaurant, after they open their own nearby eatery, until undeniable chemistry causes the Madame to take gifted young chef Hassan under her wing. Our next feature starting Sep 5 is A Most Wanted Man, starring the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
