Can you believe it will be 50 years since the first screening of A Charlie Brown Christmas?? Come hear the music from the show, written by the great Vince Guaraldi, performed here Dec 18: Charlie Brown Jazz: An Evening with the Eric Mintel Quartet. Tickets are available online here.

Our new feature film this week is The Quitter. Filmmaker Matthew Bonifacio (who has a Phoenixville connection) stars as a failed baseball player whose ex-girlfriend (Julianna Bonifacio) moves back to the neighborhood with her seven-year-old daughter. He realizes he carries more regrets than how he handled his baseball career. Please join us for a brief Q & A with director/producer/actor Matthew Bonifacio, producer/actress Julianna Gelinas Bonifacio, producer/actor Neil Jain, and additional cast and crew after the 7:30 PM screening on Fri., Dec. 12; and for an in-depth discussion after the 7 PM screening on Sat., Dec. 13. Tonight is your last chance to see Art and Craft at 7:30.

Following our feature film Friday night, stay for our Fright Night film, Let the Right One In. Oskar, an overlooked and bullied boy, finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl. (This film is the Swedish original, not the U.S. remake.)

Saturday afternoon, bring the family for Firebird Theatre’s Holiday Revue. The show will feature holiday music presented by Firebird participants and special guest performers. The highlight of the afternoon will be a short holiday play titled “A Fairytale Christmas Carol.” Get your tickets now to avoid lines at the box office.

All of our Classic films this month celebrate the holidays with Saturday Night Live alum. This Sunday at 2PM we continue with 1941. Steven Spielberg directed this film about hysterical Californians prepare for a Japanese invasion in the days after Pearl Harbor.

Come on down this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.
