A note on Friday evening in Phoenixville: The Christmas Parade and tree lighting is this Friday evening. Bridge Street will be closed from Starr Street to the Borough Hall from 6pm -9PM. We have a lovely holiday concert with City Rhythm Orchestra at 8PM. We suggest you arrive early (by 5:45 or so), have a nice dinner and do some holiday shopping. If you do have to arrive in town after 6PM, please park behind Customers Bank at 99 Bridge Street (near Starr Street) if you are traveling from the east. From the North, please come over the Main Street Bridge and park behind the Colonial. From the west or south you should access the parking lots south of Bridge Street. Thank you for your patience and enjoy your evening in Phoenixville. It will be truly festive!!

There are three new live events on our Winter schedule! An Evening with Jorma Kaukonen, Jerry Douglas and the Earls of Leicester, and Suzanne Westenhoefer. Tickets for all three events go on sale tomorrow morning at 10AM. Please note for Suzanne Westenhoefer: There are a special limited number of VIP tickets available which include the best seats in the house and an exclusive Meet & Greet!

Join us tomorrow night for great holiday entertainment by City Rhythm Orchestra: Holiday Style at 8PM. Their repertoire includes Christmas songs made famous by legendary performers ranging from Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, to Ray Charles and the Beatles. Don’t miss this wonderful evening!

Our new feature film this week (starting Saturday night) is the documentary Art and Craft. When one of the most prolific art forgers in US history, Mark Landis, is finally exposed, he must confront the legacy of his 30-year con. Tonight is your last chance to see Birdman at 7:30.

On Saturday, Phoenixville celebrates its 11th annual Firebird Festival. This will be on the north side of town, but many people will be in town for dinner, etc. We have scheduled our Saturday evening film (Art and Craft) for 8PM only. By then most festival goers will have moved up to the burn site.

Saturday at 2PM Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust presents their Annual Christmas Party. Meet Santa at the Colonial during Phoenixville Federal’s annual community Christmas party! Tickets are free but MUST be picked up in advance at any PFB&T branch.

All of our Classic films this month celebrate the holidays with Saturday Night Live alum. This Sunday at 2PM we begin with Scrooged. Bill Murray stars as a selfish, cynical TV executive is haunted by three spirits bearing lessons on Christmas Eve.
