Spend a Week at the Colonial Jan 10 – Jan 16

We are carrying over our feature film, Nebraska. The film stars Bruce Dern as an aging, booze-addled father making the trip from Montana to Nebraska with his estranged son in order to claim a million-dollar prize. The film is SURE to be an Oscar contender, so don’t miss it!

Our kids’ film this Saturday at 2PM is My Neighbor Totoro. When two girls move to the country to be near their ailing mother, they have adventures with the wonderous forest spirits who live nearby.

This week our classic film is Serpico, starring Al Pacino. Directed by Sidney Lumet, this is the true story of an honest New York cop (Frank Serpico) who blew the whistle on rampant corruption in the force only to have his comrades turn against him. Pacino won his first Golden Globe award for Best Actor in 1974 for his performance in the film. He also received a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor.

Don’t forget, this year we are adding an additional feature film matinee screening on Wednesdays. It will typically be about 4:30PM. Check the schedule for exact showtimes each week.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
