Spend a Week at the Colonial Jun 27 – Jul 3

Our new feature film this week is Fed Up. This documentary is an examination of America’s obesity epidemic and the food industry’s role in aggravating it. In collaboration with the Phoenixville Farmers Market and Activate Phoenixville, there will be a panel discussion after the Tue, Jul 1 7:30 film screening. Tonight is your last chance to see Belle at 7:30.

Come on down this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

Our Classic film this week is The French Connection, sponsored by our friends at Sips Bistro & Bar. Gene Hackman (Hoosiers) and Roy Scheider (Jaws) star in this tense, action-packed Best Picture Winner from director William Friedkin (The Exorcist).

Our summer Young Audiences series begins this Tuesday, Jul 1 at 10:30AM with Mister G. A leading figure in the children’s music world, Mister G will be performing songs from his new album, The Bossy E, which has ten original songs spanning genres from surf rock and bluegrass, to funk and world music, that are a celebration of language, learning and creativity. Join us for the Phoenixville CD release concert, and don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Blobfest fans, join the Blobfest Brigade! You may make a donation from $10 up to $500. If you give TODAY (June 26), you can be listed in the 2014 Blobfest program for your donation! Remember: next Friday is the Fourth of July – and First Friday in Phoenixville! The 100 block of Main Street will be closed, so set up your chairs and watch the fireworks after your dinner at one of the town’s many fine eateries! The theatre will be closed that day, so enjoy the day!

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
