Spend a Week at the Colonial Mar 7 – Mar 13

Our new feature film this week is Gloria. It is a story set in Chile and centered on Gloria (played by Paulina García), a free-spirited older woman, and the realities of her whirlwind relationship with a former naval officer. Tonight is your last chance to see August: Osage County at 7:30.

Following our feature Friday night, stay for our Cult feature, Manhunter, at 10PM. William Petersen plays an F.B.I. specialist who tracks a serial killer who appears to select his victims at random. Be sure to catch this film, which introduces Hannibal Lechter, before our screening of Silence of the Lambs March 23 at 2PM.

Our Young Audiences film this Saturday at 2PM is Matilda. Based on a story by Roald Dahl and directed by Danny DeVito, Mara Wilson stars as Matilda, the story of a wonderful little girl, who happens to be a genius, and her wonderful teacher – vs. the worst parents and school principal imaginable.

Come on down this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

The second of our Classic film series’ March “madness” theme is Suddenly, Last Summer. Elizabeth Taylor, Katharine Hepburn and Montgomery Clift star in a classic tale by Tennessee Williams and directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
