Spend a Week at the Colonial Aug 14 – Aug 20

Donate by August 31st to help us meet our fundraising goal! The end of summer means the end of another fiscal year, so we are doing everything we can to try to meet our fundraising goals before we close our books. A portion of our budget does not come from ticket sales, concessions, and other earned income. We make this up through membership, general donations, sponsorships, events, and grants. If you have donated in any amount, become a member (or renewed your membership) since September 1, 2014 – thank you! If you have not yet responded to our requests for support, we hope you’ll consider making a donation right now. If you need assistance or have questions related to donations, contact Emily, our Development Associate, at or call the theatre. Or, you can mail in your contribution or make a donation online. Thank you!

Our new feature film this week is Mr. Holmes. An aged, retired Sherlock Holmes looks back on his life, and grapples with an unsolved case involving a beautiful woman. Tonight is your last chance to see Amy, at 7:30.

Our Classic film this Sunday at 2PM is The King and I. A widow accepts a job as a live-in governess to the King of Siam’s children. Winner of 6 Academy Awards, including Best Actor for Yul Brynner.

Tuesday will be our final summer Young Audiences program with the popular Jonathan Burns Flexible Comedy. You can buy tickets online here.

Thursday is your last chance to see a special recorded presentation of a live Royal Opera performance of La bohème. Join the Royal Opera for one of the most popular operas of all time! Tickets are available here.

Join us this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
