Our new feature film this week is Amy. Director Asif Kapadia (Senna) presents the tragic story of singer Amy Winehouse in her own words, featuring unseen archival footage and unheard tracks. Tonight is your last chance to see I’ll See You in My Dreams, at 7:30.

Following our feature on Friday night, stay for our Fright Night film The People Under the Stairs. Wes Craven’s story of two adults and a juvenile burglar who break into a house occupied by a brother and sister and their stolen children and can’t escape.

Our Classic film this Sunday at 2PM is The Maltese Falcon. Private detective Sam Spade (Humphrey Bogart) takes on a case that involves him with three eccentric criminals, a gorgeous liar, and their quest for a priceless statuette. Interesting bit of trivia: John Huston was nominated for an Oscar for writing the screenplay for this film, but lost to Herman J. Mankiewicz and Orson Welles for Citizen Kane.

You voted, and the winner of this summer’s You Pick a Movie is: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone! Bring the kids Tuesday at 10:30AM and go back to the beginning. Rescued from the outrageous neglect of his aunt and uncle, a young boy with a great destiny proves his worth while attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
