Spend a Week at the Colonial Feb 13 – Feb 19

Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning, Feb 13 at 10:00 for comedian Ralphie May, Friday, Apr 24 at 8PM. As always the fastest, easiest way to buy tickets is online.

The 7PM guest list for our 11th Annual Members’ Party is full. You may still RSVP for the 8:30PM list by emailing Kirsten, or calling her at 610-917-1228 to RSVP. Ladies: don’t forget you can find something fabulous to wear.! We have a shopping party at LuLu Boutique & Gifterie TONIGHT at 6PM. Don’t miss it!

Our new feature film this week is Oscar Nominated Short Films. Throughout the week, we will be alternating screenings between Live Action and Animated shorts. Sunday at 6:20PM will be your only chance to see the Documentary shorts. Be sure to check the schedule for screenings. Tonight is your last chance to see Foxcatcher at 7:30.

Bring the kids this Saturday at 2PM for Shane. A weary gunfighter (Alan Ladd) attempts to settle down with a homestead family, but a smoldering settler/rancher conflict forces him to act.

Each Sunday in February, we are screening a film with an Oscar winning supporting role. We continue this Sunday with The Last Picture Show: the picture show that introduced America to the forgotten1950s. It launched the meteoric career of its brilliant new director (Peter Bogdonovich) and its talented cast. It won 2 Academy Awards, and nominations for 8. It stars Timothy Bottoms, Jeff Bridges, Cybill Shepherd, Ben Johnson, Cloris Leachman, Ellen Burstyn, Eileen Brennan, Clu Gulager, Sam Bottoms and Randy Quaid.

We would like to welcome Emily Simmons, our new Development Associate! Emily comes to us with great development experience. She started last Monday and we are lucky to have her at the Colonial!

Come on down this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
