This concert is themed “Broadway and Beyond,” featuring Rudy Lucente on TOSDV’s fabulous 3/24 Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ, with vocalists Amanda McDonald and John Frederick. Our new feature film this week is Wild. A chronicle of one woman’s 1,100-mile solo hike undertaken as a way to recover from a recent catastrophe. Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern each received an Oscar nomination for their portrayals. Please note that there will be no screening of the film Sunday due to the Members’ Party. Tonight is your last chance to see Oscar Nominated Short Films (Animated) at 7:30.

Following our feature Friday night, stay for our Cult film, Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. Mike Nelson and his robot companions watch and give their comments about This Island Earth.

Bring the whole family this Saturday at 2PM for To Kill a Mockingbird. Atticus Finch (played by Gregory Peck in this Oscar-winning role), a lawyer in the Depression-era South, defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge, and his kids against prejudice.

Each Sunday in February, we are screening a film with an Oscar winning supporting role. We finish out the month this Sunday at 2PM with Goodfellas. Joe Pesci won Best Supporting Actor as Tommy DeVito in this classic mob film.

We welcome and show appreciation to our members this weekend with our 11th Annual Members’ Party. RSVPs are closed, but we look forward to celebrating the Oscars with attendees Sunday night!

Come on down this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
