There are just a handful of spots left for the 7PM guest list for our 11th Annual Members’ Party! Have you RSVP’d yet? Email Kirsten, or call her at 610-917-1228 to RSVP.

Ladies: looking for something fabulous to wear to the party? We have a shopping party at LuLu Boutique & Gifterie on Feb 12 at 6PM and Makeovers immediately before the party on Feb 22 at 6PM. Let the red carpet fun begin!

Our new feature film this week is Foxcatcher. Nominated for three Academy Awards this year, it stars nominee Steve Carell as multimillionaire John du Pont, who coaches an Olympic wrestling champion brother team as they train for the 1988 games in Seoul – a union that leads to unlikely circumstances. Tonight is your last chance to see The Imitation Game at 7:30.

Friday night following our feature, stay for our Fright Night film, Event Horizon. A rescue crew investigates a spaceship that disappeared into a black hole and has now returned … with someone or something new on-board.

Bring the kids this Saturday at 2PM for Captains Courageous. Young Harvey Cheyne (Freddie Bartholomew) spends three months at sea with a firm but fair Captain Troop (Spencer Tracy). Helmed by famed director Victor Fleming.

Each Sunday in February, we are screening a film with an Oscar winning supporting role. We continue this Sunday with Billy Wilder’s The Fortune Cookie. A crooked lawyer (Walter Matthau, in his Oscar winning performance) persuades his brother-in-law (Jack Lemmon) to feign a serious injury.

This month’s Community Cinema film on Wed, Feb 11 at 5:30PM, American Denial, explores the impact of hidden biases around race and class in America. In the wake of recent events that have sparked a national dialogue around race dynamics, American Denial will challenge your perceptions about race in America today. Join us for a free sneak-peak screening before it airs on Independent Lens/PBS. This screening is free, but registration is required by signing up online.

Come on down this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.
