Our Young Audiences programming is back Tuesday, July 7, 10:30AM with The Cat’s Pajamas. Many thanks to our summer program sponsor, PECO! The Cats bring a musical comedy twist to high-octane kid-rock, backed by a band that will knock your socks off! Check our Young Audiences page for the full summer schedule.

We are closed on Saturday, July 4th. Enjoy the holiday!! On Friday and Saturday, we welcome the American Theatre Organ Society (ATOS) to the Colonial. Our Wurlitzer theatre organ is worth a trip out from Philadelphia where ATOS are on a week-long conference with over 400 attendees. There are a few tickets available at the door for the 2pm show on Friday featuring Mark Herman. Please welcome our guests and call ahead if you are interested in attending the concert. Tickets are $25.

Our new feature film this week is About Elly. Director Asghar Farhadi (A Separation) brings you a film about the mysterious disappearance of a kindergarten teacher during a picnic in the north of Iran that is followed by a series of misadventures for her fellow travelers. Tonight is your last chance to see documentarian Albert Maysles’ film Iris at 7:30. Please note that we will be closed for the July 4 holiday and July 9 in preparation for Blobfest!

Speaking of Blobfest – have you gotten your double feature tickets yet? Tickets are available online now! Read our e-newsletter next week for all your Blobfest details or check online here.

Following our feature Friday night, stay for the Fright Night classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, sponsored by Apartment 1014 Films. Five friends visiting their grandfather’s house in the country are hunted and terrorized by a chain-saw wielding killer and his family of grave-robbing cannibals.

Our classic film this Sunday is The Fly (1958). A scientist has a horrific accident when he tries to use his newly invented teleportation device. Come out and enjoy our Blobfest appetizer starring Vincent Price!

Join us this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
