Spend a Week at the Colonial Jun 26 – Jul 2

There are still Orchestra tickets left for Bringing Back the Bacons, tomorrow night at 8PM. Singer songwriters Michael and Kevin Bacon are back to support culture and conservation in our region. We are excited to host them and their talented band for this concert benefiting both the Association of the Colonial Theatre (ACT) and French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust (FPCCT). Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone or at the box office tomorrow night. See you here!

We’ve got another great treat for you this Sunday. Join us at 2PM for a double feature of Blow Up/Blow Out, sponsored by Sly Fox Beer. Arrive by 1:30pm for mod U.K. vinyl spins before Blow-Up (and later, for early-’80’s tunes before Blow Out) by The Thrifty Discount DJs; and beers, courtesy of Sly Fox on the house!

Our new feature film this week is Iris. Late director Albert Maysles (Grey Gardens, Gimme Shelter, Salesman) reveals the magic of fashion icon Iris Apfel. Iris is very witty, funny and inspirational. Even in her 90s, she continues to educate young aspiring fashion designers. Join us for a big screen presentation of the penultimate film of documentarian Maysles. Because of the concert Friday night, the feature will begin Saturday at 5PM.

Don’t miss tonight’s screening of the The Royal Ballet’s Swan Lake at 7:30. The beautiful Peter Wright production is visually entrancing with something for everyone to enjoy! Tickets are available online or at the box office.

Join us this Sunday at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to preview 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Saturday by calling 610-917-1228, giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
