We are carrying over our feature film this week: Selma. The recounting of Martin Luther King’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965. Nominated for Best Picture Oscar, the film won Best Original Song for “Glory.” Our new feature next week will be Still Alice, starring Julianne Moore in an Oscar winning performance!

Our kids’ film this Saturday at 2PM is The Fox and the Child. The film has been described as both a fairy tale look at the story of young girl and her friendship with a fox.

Our Mel Brooks film this week is The Producers. Thanks so much to our sponsor Black Walnut Winery. Producers Max Bialystock (Zero Mostel) and Leo Bloom (Gene Wilder) make money by producing a sure-fire flop. After the movie, a Mel Brooks Trivia contest will be held at Black Walnut Winery. There will be snacks and prizes. Don’t miss it!
