Spend a Week at the Colonial Nov 27 Dec 3

Tickets are available for Winter Theatre Organ Concert presented by The Theatre Organ Society of the Delaware Valley, Sunday, Dec 6 at 2PM. You can buy them online here.

Our new feature film starting Friday is Suffragette. This is a lush period piece about the women’s suffrage movement in England. It stars Carey Mulligan as a harried woman working in a laundry factory who gradually becomes deeply involved in politics. Tonight is your last chance to see The Martian at 7:30. We will be closed for the holiday tomorrow.

It is Thanksgiving weekend and that means one thing here at the Colonial: it’s time for our annual screenings of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, sponsored by Kevin R. Pound. History is turned on its comic head when King Arthur travels the countryside to find knights who will join him at the Round Table in Camelot. We’ll provide the coconuts, you provide the laughter. This year you can even sing along for two special screenings, Friday at 4:30 and Saturday at 9:15. See the full list of screening times below.

Join us Saturday morning at 11:00 for an entertaining, fascinating look at The Barkley Marathons. Winner of the Audience Award for Documentary at the Austin Film Festival, the director presents the true story of a brutal marathon in the woods of Tennessee.

Saturday at 2PM our Young Audiences film is the beautifully animated Fantastic Mr. Fox sponsored by Phoenixville First. Based on the novel by Roald Dahl and directed by Wes Anderson, it stars the voices of George Clooney and Meryl Streep as Mr. and Mrs. Fox. Bring the kids and grandkids for a fun Saturday afternoon at the theatre!

This Sunday at 2PM, our Classic film is Doctor Zhivago. Enjoy this beautiful David Lean film on the Colonial big screen!

Join us the first and third Sundays of each month at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Thursday by calling 610-917-1228 and giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
