Spend a Week at the Colonial Nov 6 Nov 12

We are carrying over our feature film this week: The Assassin. If you have not had a chance to see the film yet, be sure to come in this week to take in the atmosphere of this beautifully shot story! Please note there will be no screening Saturday night due to the concert.

Following our feature Friday, stay for our Fright Night film, Prince of Darkness, sponsored by The Great American Pub & Hotel. Come see Donald Pleasance, Alice Cooper and a canister of liquid evil in this classic horror film by legendary director John Carpenter.

Join us this Saturday at 2PM for our Young Audiences screening of Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, sponsored by Bridge Street Chocolates. Gail will be here with her signature chocolates for sale, as well as special surprises!

Saturday at 8PM, Point Entertainment presents Al Stewart. There are only a few seats left, so if you are still trying to make plans, order soon!

Our classic film Sunday is Orson Welles’ The Stranger. An investigator from the War Crimes Commission (Edward G. Robinson) travels to Connecticut to find an infamous Nazi (Orson Welles). Watch two acting legends Welles and Robinson working together with a cast that includes Loretta Young, along with a fine story. The Stranger is a great thriller.

Next Saturday morning, don’t miss Autism in Love, Nov 14 at 11AM. The screening is FREE and there will be a short (20 minute) panel discussion following the screening. Indie Lens Pop-Up is presented by the Colonial Theatre and WHYY.

We are bringing back our Royal Opera House presentations, starting Dec 20 at 5:30PM with The Nutcracker! You can find all of our 2015-16 ROH presentations at our website on our Royal Opera House page.

Join us the first and third Sundays of each month at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Thursday by calling 610-917-1228 and giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
