You have another week to see our feature film, Room. Five-year-old Jack and his mother live in enclosed surroundings that Jack has known his entire life. They enact a risky plan to escape, ultimately bringing them face-to-face with what may turn out to be the scariest thing yet: the real world. Nominated for 4 Oscars and directed by Lenny Abrahamson (Frank), the film stars Brie Larson as Ma and Jacob Tremblay in a virtuoso performance as Jack. Our next feature film, Carol, will begin Feb 5.

Our young audiences film Saturday at 2PM is Zarafa. Pursued by slavers across the moon-lit savannah, a touching story of a young Sudanese boy who befriends the sweet giraffe Zarafa, while he himself is trying to avoid being captured and sold into slavery.

Our classic film this Sunday at 2PM is The Wind and the Lion. Candace Bergen and Sean Connery (along with Brian Keith) star as an American woman and the sheik who kidnaps her, in this fictionalized version of a true story. Watch for John Huston as Secretary of State John Hay.

Our 12th Annual Members’ Party is Sunday, Feb 28. The 7:00 pre-party is SOLD OUT. We are only accepting reservations for the 8:30 arrival time. To RSVP, contact Attending the Members’ Party at the 8:30 time is FREE for members at all levels.
