Spend a Week at the Colonial Jun 10 to Jun 16

We are carrying over our feature film this week, Love & Friendship. Lady Susan Vernon (Kate Beckinsale) takes up temporary residence at her in-laws’ estate and, while there, is determined to be a matchmaker for her daughter Frederica — and herself too, naturally. Be sure to see our new feature next week, The Lobster.

Our classic film Sunday afternoon at 2PM is Charlie Chaplin in The Kid. Charlie Chaplin stars and directs in this memorable silent film achievement. The Tramp cares for an abandoned child (Jackie Coogan), but events put that relationship in jeopardy. The film’s soundtrack is also written by Chaplin himself. Don’t miss this chance to see one of the greatest silent films on the big screen!

Sunday at 3:45, join us for Sleeping Beauty. Journey with The Royal Ballet to an enchanted world of princesses, fairy godmothers, and magical spells in this landmark production of Petipa’s classic ballet, to glorious music by Tchaikovsky.

Get your double feature tickets now for BLOBFEST! This year it takes place July 8-10, with double features including This Island, Earth, Queen of Blood, and The Late Night Double Feature. The Friday Night Run Out is SOLD OUT. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors this year: Mainstay Inn, Riverworks Phoenixville, The Sunflower Cafe and Truck Stop, Chester County’s Brandywine Valley, and Mosaic Music Lessons.

Join us the first and third Sundays of each month at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5PM Thursday by calling 610-917-1228 and giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
