Our new feature film this week is Love & Friendship. Lady Susan Vernon ( Kate Beckinsale) takes up temporary residence at her in-laws’ estate and, while there, is determined to be a matchmaker for her daughter Frederica — and herself too, naturally. Tonight is your last chance to see Susan Sarandon in The Meddler, at 7:30.

Following our feature Friday night, join us at 9:45 for our Fright Night classic, Brian DePalma’s Carrie. Watch as Sissy Spacek, a shy and outcast 17 year-old girl, unleashes her telekinetic powers after being humiliated by her classmates. Prom will never be the same.

If you are coming into town Saturday, be sure to allow extra time. The 200 block of Bridge Street will be closed for a car show. Come down early, check out the show, and come see any of many films we will be screening that day.

Join us Saturday morning at 11:00 for our FREE screening of the Indie Lens Pop Up series film, T-Rex: Her Fight for Gold. See how Claressa Fields got to a number one ranking in the world heading into her second Olympic competition, the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Games. Stay for a brief panel discussion immediately after the screening!

Saturday afternoon at 2PM we are screening another so-bad-it’s-good episode of MST3K: Outlaw of Gor. A hero and his loser friend are transplanted to the planet of Gor and are soon caught up in an evil sorcerer’s plot!

Our classic film Sunday afternoon at 2PM is Cool Hand Luke. Paul Newman stars in the lead role as Luke Jackson, an unrepentant, stubborn prisoner in a Southern chain gang. The role landed him an Oscar nomination and George Kennedy a win for Best Supporting Actor.

Get your double feature tickets now for BLOBFEST! This year it takes place July 8-10, with double features including This Island, Earth, Queen of Blood, and The Late Night Double Feature. The Friday Night Run Out is SOLD OUT. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors this year: Mainstay Inn, Riverworks Phoenixville, The Sunflower Cafe and Truck Stop, Chester County’s Brandywine Valley, and Mosaic Music Lessons.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
