Spend a Week at the Colonial Sep 23 to Sep 29

Celebrate Art House Theater with us this week. We’ve got a full slate of cinema – ranging from action, comedy, and Shakespeare, to horror. Take a look!

Friday night we’ll be screening Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made and Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation. Watch a documentary about the making of the film, meet the filmmakers and stay for a screening of their film.

We will carry over our feature film, Don’t Think Twice and screen Ron Howard’s Beatles documentary Eight Days a Week – The Touring Years. We’ll also screen Much Ado About Nothing Sunday at 2:00. Check movie links for the schedule.

Beatles fans also note that the great band 1964: The Tribute will be at the Colonial Friday, Oct 14 at 8PM. Great tickets are still available and may be purchased online here.

Saturday is national Art House Theater Day. We honor the day with two special screenings: Time Bandits (sponsored by our friend Kevin R. Pound) at 3PM and Phantasm: Remastered at 8:30PM. After Phantasm, stick around for a live stream Q&A with director Don Coscarelli and original cast members.

NOTE: We will be closed Monday, Sep 26. Exciting work on theatre expansion means that we will be moving our lobby doors out about six feet. Construction will block the front of the theatre. We apologize for the inconvenience but look forward to a new swanky entry!

Join us the first and third Sundays of each month at 12:30 for an exclusive tour of the theatre and a visit to 225 Bridge St. Please RSVP by 5:30PM Thursday by calling 610-917-1228 and giving us the names of all attending.

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
