ON-SALE DATES for 2022 Blobfest RUN OUT

There are 3 on-sale dates for 2022 Blobfest: The Uninvited Run-Out tickets (Friday 7/8). Run-out tickets typically sell out very quickly, so plan ahead!

Tickets for Double Features are available for purchase online during the public on-sale: they are not available during the VIP Advance or Member Pre-sales. Double feature tickets can only be purchased online until Friday, July 8 at midnight; after this date, any remaining double-feature tickets must be purchased at the box office.

All visitors must comply with current safety policies to enter the Colonial Theatre during 2022 Blobfest weekend. Check our website before you travel to Phoenixville and don’t forget your vaccination card, PCR test result or mask.

• VIP ADVANCE SALE:   Fri, May 20 from 10 AM – 5 PM EST

VIP Ticketholders from 2021 & 2020 Blobfest ‘At-Home’ Editions will receive a special access code via email, which is needed to participate in this advance sale for Friday Night Run Out tickets. Limit 2 per purchase. There are a limited number of VIP and Weekend Passes available! Once gone, they’re gone.

• MEMBER PRE-SALE:   Thurs, May 26 from 10 AM – 5 PM EST

Join or Renew ahead of time to participate in the pre-sale. Members will receive a special access code via email, which is needed to participate in this pre-sale for Friday Night Run Out tickets. Limit 2 to 5 per purchase depending on your Membership level.

• PUBLIC ON-SALE:  Fri, May 27 from 10 AM – 5 PM EST

Includes Run Out and Double Feature tickets. Double feature tickets can only be purchased online until Friday, July 8 at midnight; after this date, any remaining double-feature tickets must be purchased at the box office.

For the very first time in the history of the Colonial Theatre (we’re not joking!), we are giving one lucky Blobbie and up to 29 of their closest friends the chance to win the first ever private viewing of The Blob (1958) in our plush Berry Theatre during the Friday night Run Out! Winners will not be able to view the Stage Show or participate in the Run Out, but you will have a stellar and super special experience on Friday Night in the Home of the Blob.

Aurora Gorealis will announce the winner on the Blobfest Facebook page on Monday, May 23 and our staff will contact you directly. All proceeds benefit the historic Colonial Theatre’s mission and programs. Purchase your $30 chance (or chances) to win by midnight on May 22 online.

Friday Night Stage Show & Run Out: Seating & Tickets

Seating is reserved. Each section exits the building in a set order during the re-enactment of the ‘Run Out’ scene: Premium ticketholders run out first, followed by Floor and VIP ticketholders. Balcony ticketholders casually ooze down the stairs (no running from this section).

VIP – $125 | Includes 1 Friday Run Out/Stage Show ticket in the VIP section, 1 ticket to each of the 4 Double Features on Saturday and Sunday (does not include food during Sunday’s Double Feature), free soda and popcorn, and a 2022 VIP Bag filled with exclusive Blobfest: The Uninvited merchandise!

NEW! Weekend Pass – $75 | Includes 1 Friday Night Run Out/Stage Show ticket in the VIP Run Out section, 1 ticket to each of the 4 Double Features on Saturday and Sunday (does not include food during Sunday’s Double Feature), free soda and popcorn.

Premium Run Out – $40  |  Floor Run Out – $25   |  Balcony Ooze Out – $15

The Blob Ball is hosted after the Run Out on Friday night inside the Colonial’s lobby. Separate tickets are required for this retro dance party. 

Ticket Pick-up Instructions

All 2022 Blobfest ticketholders need wristbands to enter and re-enter the Colonial Theatre.

• Friday & Sunday ticketholders pick up wristbands upon arrival at vaccination check (just outside the theatre or in the outer lobby).
• Saturday ticketholders get their wristbands at the Membership & Information Table (look for the red checkered tablecloth) outside the theatre.

Saturday & Sunday Double Features: seating & Tickets

Purchase a VIP or Weekend Pass to see any double feature you like OR buy individual tickets to each of 4 double features. Seating is General Admission. Please note: only patrons with tickets to a Double Feature will be allowed inside the Colonial Theatre on Saturday and Sunday.

NEW! Sunday Edible Cinema: TICKET Add-On

Add a retro lunch to your Sunday Double Feature ticket! Boxed lunches from Dixie Picnic are scratch made and include your choice of one of 10 sandwich options, fruit salad, a deviled egg, and their signature Upcake, plus 1 soda from our concessions (no refills). The cut-off for adding lunch  to your Sunday Double Feature ticket(s) is July 4^th.

Edible Cinema Add-on – $15

After purchasing your film tickets, a link to a form will be provided where you can specify your sandwich preference.

Saturday Street Fair & Blobfest Merchandise

The Street Fair is free to attend and open to the public. The Blobfest Merchandise tent and Membership and Information tables will be located outside in the Street Fair. Tickets are not needed to enter the Street Fair, but entry fees may be required to participate in Contests occurring during the Street Fair.
