Loudon Wainwright III was among the first wave of singer/songwriters to emerge in the late-’60s/early-’70s, releasing his debut self-titled album in 1970. His songs are known for their droll wit and wry observations on life, carving out a unique niche for himself in the music and humor domains. He has gone on to have a long career as a Grammy-winning recording artist, actor and humorist. He is also notable for being the father of singer/ songwriters, Rufus Wainwright, Martha Wainwright and Lucy Wainwright Roche.
Susan Werner composes skillful songs that effortlessly slide between folk, jazz, and pop, all delivered with sassy wit and classic Midwestern charm.
