The Theatre Organ Society of the Delaware Valley presents the 1925 silent movie The Eagle. Set in the Imperial Court of 18th century Russia, The Eagle is a dashing and romantic adventure in which Rudolph Valentino gives what many consider his finest screen performance.
Don Kinnier will accompany the film on the mighty 3/24 Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ. Don needs no introduction since he is a local organist well-known for his silent film accompaniment. Last year he accompanied the Harold Lloyd silent movie Speedy at the Colonial, and from 1974 to 1995 he served as The Colonial’s house organist. Please plan to join us for an afternoon of fine entertainment and a step into the past.
This program benefits the Theatre Organ Society of the Delaware Valley (TOSDV) Theatre Pipe Organ Restoration Fund. For additional information visit TOSDV.org; email firstname.lastname@example.org; or call 215-780-0831.
