Please join us at the 9th Annual ROBERT BURNS MEMORIAL WHISKY TASTING, “A Night in the World of Whisk(e)ys” benefiting the Classic Film Series at the Colonial! The event will be held at the Colonial Theatre on Friday, January 29th, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm (or so . . . ) Enjoy an incomparably unique evening of fine whiskies, artisanal cheeses, and delectable chocolates. Seating for this event is limited. Riannon Walsh, renowned single malt whisky and distilled spirits expert returns to bring us exceptional single malts from around the world! During this event, Riannon will speak out the whiskies in terms of their qualities, taste, and cultural influences. Riannon, a spirits industry icon and celebrated ‘nose,’ is the author of the food and spirits cookbook Whisky Dreams and a partner in the Brandywine Branch Distillery. Each attendee will receive the fine whisky tasting glass they use in the evening’s festivities as a keepsake. Silent Auction items will be announced in early January this year. As in past years, items will be available for final bids the night of the tasting and bidding will close during the event.

Tickets

Whisky Ticket: $125

Tickets can be purchased online, in person at the box office, or by calling [610] 917-1228. Your tickets will be attached as a .pdf to your confirmation email. We will also add your name to our door list and will email you several days in advance of the event with detailed information.

Tickets to the Whisky Tasting make a great holiday gift for family, friends or business associates! If you are purchasing your tickets as gifts, please call to let us know and we will mail you a gift certificate to give to the recipient.
