Blobfest 2025 is Camp Blobfest, and the Blob Scouts are here to help! Blob Scout Camp is a 5-hour program for pre-teens that will use the campy whimsy of the cult classic to introduce community service, theatre and film history, crisis management, and some elementary chemistry. Headquartered in the Garden Suite, participants will be initiated into the honorable corps of Blob Scouts to uphold the principles of “community, communication, and keeping chill against the ooze of the unknown” and bedecked with locally handprinted camp red kerchiefs and high red socks.

 

Think Wes Anderson meets Gravity Falls.

Activities may include

  •  A tour of the Colonial from local history phenom and councilmember Ryan Conroy.

  • Slime making.

  •  Fire extinguisher training from the Phoenixville Fire Dept.

  • Practicing responses like reporting or staying calm in different kinds of emergent situations.

  • Pizza at a local restaurant.

  •  A detective-style treasure hunt to discover blob remnants.

  •  & preparing the Camp Blobfest Family Fun Zone in the Children’s Plaza for the Blobfest Weekend.

A finalized itinerary will be sent to participants in the days before the event.

 

Cost: The event has a sliding scale of price, and we ask that you pay as you are able. Per child, the price range is 60 – 120 dollars.
