How do I know where a film is playing?

There are a total of three (3) theaters at the Colonial; the location of your film is printed on your ticket and confirmation email. Theaters are also listed on each film’s web page – see below for an example.

THEATerS

The 1903 Theater (Theater 1)

The Colonial’s historic auditorium has 658 seats: 473 on the floor and 185 in the balcony.*

There are 4 wheelchair spaces on the main floor (indicated by a W on the seating chart): two are located side-by-side at V11 and V13, and two are located on either outside aisle at L21 and L22. A C. indicates companion seats to the wheelchair spaces. There are also 3 transfer seats (one arm of the seat flips up) located at D2, G1, and T23. There is currently no accessible seating on the balcony. Seats in the rear balcony (rows E, F, G, and H) have limited legroom.

Theater 1’s screen is 12’5” high x 30’ wide, and this theater is equipped for 35mm and 2K digital projection. (The distance between the screen and the first row of seats renders 4K indiscernible.) Row A is approximately 4’ from the stage and 22’ from the screen. The stage is roughly 18’ deep x 25’ wide.

The White Rabbit Theater (Theater 2)

The Colonial’s mid-size theater has 174 seats, including 5 wheelchair spaces (indicated by a W on the seating chart) located at A1, A6, A13, J13, and K15.*

Companion seats to the wheelchair spaces are indicated by a C. Seats indicated by an R have a restricted view. Theater 2’s seats are retractable, allowing for a flexible space that can be used as a black box theatre in addition to a traditional auditorium. There are 49 seats in the fixed balcony and 125 seats in the stadium-style retractable section.

Theatre 2’s screen is 10’2” high x 24’ wide. Theatre 2 is equipped for 2K digital projection only. Row A is approximately 12’ from the screen.

The Berry Theater (Theater 3)

The Colonial’s luxe theater has 65 seats, including 4 wheelchair spaces located at E3, E6, E7, and E12 (indicated by a W on the seating chart). Companion seats to the wheelchair spaces are indicated by a C.*

Theater 3’s screen is 6’4” high x 14’4” wide. Row A is approximately 2’ from the stage and 9’ from the screen. The stage is approximately 9’ deep x 20’ wide. Theater 3 is equipped for 2K digital projection only.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable. Film tickets may be exchanged for another regular film screening at the box office.

Ticket Resales

Tickets must be purchased directly from The Colonial Theatre via the box office, phone, or Colonial website. Resold tickets will be canceled. Tickets purchased from third party resellers are not the responsibility of the Colonial Theatre. As such, any refunds must be processed directly through the third-party reseller.

Payment

Cash, check (received 2 weeks or more before the show), VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. Checks require a pre-printed name and address and a valid driver’s license. A $25.00 fee applies to all returned checks. Please note: If you are mailing a check, it is required that you write your phone number and driver’s license number on the check. If we receive your check without the phone number and driver’s license number, we will return it to you.
