Renting The Colonial

The historic nature of the Colonial Theatre, varied spaces, and proximity to local restaurants and area hotels make it a fabulous setting for a party, film screening, corporate event, anniversary or wedding ceremony. Please complete and submit a rental request form. Once we've checked your requested dates and needs against our programming calendar, a member of our staff will be in touch.

Please Note: there is no longer weekend rental availability through 2023 for the 1903, White Rabbit, or Berry Theatres. We currently have no availability through October, and Holiday rental requests for November and December 2023 must be received by Monday, September 4 (Labor Day).


Theatres & Event Spaces

The 1903 Theatre Capacity: 473 seats on 1st floor and 185 in balcony

Rates vary based on specific needs.

There are 4 wheelchair spaces and 3 transfer seats (one arm of the seat flips up) on the main floor. Theatre 1’s screen is 12’5” high x 30’ wide and this theatre is equipped for 35mm and 2K digital projection. Row A is approximately 4’ from the stage and 22’ from the screen. The stage is roughly 18’ deep x 25’ wide.

White Rabbit Theatre Capacity: 174

Rates vary based on specific needs.

Theatre 2’s seats are retractable allowing for a flexible space that can be used as a black box theatre in addition to a traditional auditorium. There are 49 seats in the fixed balcony and 125 seats in the stadium-style retractable section, including 5 wheelchair spaces. Theatre 2’s screen is 10’2” high x 24’ wide.Theatre 2 is equipped for 2K digital projection only. Row A is approximately 12’ from the screen.

Berry Theatre Capacity: 65

Rates vary based on specific needs.

The Colonial’s red luxe theatre has 65 seats including 4 wheelchair spaces. Theatre 3’s screen is 6’4” high x 14’4” wide. Theatre 3 is equipped for 2K digital projection only. Row A is approximately 2’ from the stage and 9’ from the screen. The stage is approximately 9’ deep x 20’ wide.

Event Spaces

Garden Suite & Rooftop Terrace Capacity: Varies based on Setup and Guest Total.

Rates vary based on specific needs.

The Garden Suite and Rooftop Terrace are available with greater flexibility than the theatres and are ideal for business meetings, private parties, multimedia presentations, and community events.

Marquee Messaging Capacity: 300 characters

Tax-deductible donation of $200 per hour

    Photography sessions may not interfere with the theatre’s programming. Theatre management reserves the right to cancel the photography session due to conflict with a reasonable amount of notice, in which case your payment will be refunded. Great care is taken to ensure that all users of the theatre will have sufficient time and use of all areas, provided that users of the theatre arrive at the scheduled time. The theatre is not responsible for any delays or rescheduling of session caused by photography sessions that do not begin on time or that run overtime. Please be courteous of others and make every effort to be ready to start your session at the scheduled time.
