CIRQUE du BLOBFEST: Friday Night Immersive Screening & Run-Out

Come one! Come all! To the most astonishing, electrifying, spine-tingling spectacle: the Cirque du Blobfest Friday Night Run-Out Spectacular!

For one night only, behind the curtain of the historic 1902 Theatre, our Big Top shall rise in all its glittering glory! The doors swing wide at the stroke of 6 p.m., and the festivities commence with a jubilant blast from the mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, as it fills the air with toe-tapping carnival classics that will have your hearts dancing and your spirits soaring!

If you choose to be a an attendee of the Center Ring (Gold Circle) you’ll receive admittance to an exclusive and complimentary cocktail hour in the Lion’s Den (the Garden Suite) from 6 pm to 7 pm, which includes free drinks and popcorn for the main event! Or choose the Premiere seating and be one of the first to escape the circus when we re-create the famous run-out scene! Also new to Cirque du Blobfest – select center seating in our rear Balcony and enjoy the show from the seats featured in our beloved feature film.

Then, as the clock strikes 7 p.m., prepare yourselves for a dazzling pre-show unlike any other! Our illustrious Ringmaster, accompanied by a merry band of carnies, curiosities, and characters, shall take center ring to present a miniature marvel of merriment! Witness the celebration of our triumphant Shorty Short Film winners, crowned before your very eyes in a whirl of applause and confetti!

For the first time in Blobfest history, we unveil our most astonishing attraction yet: an immersive screening of the classic creature feature, The Blob, including prop bags!

Yes, indeed! The lights will blaze! The music will swell! The audience shall roar with beloved call-outs! You won’t simply watch the picture, you’ll become part of it! Cheer for the heroes! Gasp at the thrills! Join in the time-honored traditions that have made Blobfest legendary, and experience new ones that will make this immersive screening a one-of-a-kind evening at the theatre!

And when the moment arrives — oh, what a moment it shall be! — you will leap into action for the famed, fabulous, and fantastical Annual Run-Out, happening in real time with the film itself! A spectacle of synchronized excitement that must be seen (and sprinted!) to be believed!
