When the Black Lunch Table is All We Have

Todd Inman Presents:

About

Todd Inman’s presentation is called “When the Black Lunch Table is All We Have” Todd shares experiences from the point of view of one of the few Black students in a suburban school. The presentation includes the stories of the ‘Best in humanity’ and the ‘Worst of humanity’ and everything in between.  If you had a friend of color in school, the experiences you shared are remembered far different then how you saw them. There was another layer to being a minority student in a suburban school that a non-minority didn’t have to contend with. Audiences leave Todd’s presentations after being entertained, educated, and hopeful about the future of race relations.

This will be a 1 hour program featuring a presentation and Q and A.

About the presenter: Todd Inman was raised in Chesterbrook, PA and matriculated through the Tredyffrin Easttown School District. He was the first Black person to integrate Valley Forge Elementary School. As he continued on with his schooling, he developed friendships with kids from all ethnicities even winning ‘Best Personality’ and ‘Most Friendly’ in the yearbook superlatives. He never lost his determination to uplift his race as he became a two-term president of the Black Student Union. It was Todd’s initiatives that introduced Black students to higher education and racial pride that led to the breakthrough to the next socio-economical class of many students. Todd now owns a multimedia company that specializes in promoting social impact, self-development, and mental health. The company inspires people through films, books, and live speeches.
