NINA FREEMAN: MAKING GAMES INTIMATE(LY):

Nina Freeman will present examples of her work to the audience, and share personal stories about her path as a poet, designer, and game developer. Ms. Freeman’s presentation will be followed by a Q and A with the audience. Come early to test out some of Nina’s games installed on computers in the lobby.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Nina Freeman is an American game designer and streamer based in Maryland. She is best known for her work on small, personal games, made in collaboration with Jake Jefferies and Star Maid Games. Some of these games include Cibele, which is an FMV game about her relationship with a lover she met in an online game, and most recently, Last Call, a poem-exploration game about sharing her personal experience with domestic violence.


PROCEEDS BENEFIT LOCAL CHARITY:
All ticket proceeds for this event will be directed to Frog Hollow Farm in Phoenixville. As a venture of Partners Creating Community, Frog Hollow Farm envisions a place where adults with Autism, intellectual and developmental differences, as well as those with special mental health needs, can find a “life-sharing” community in which they will thrive.
