The Philly Two Tars and Downingtown First Mistake Tents have arranged a special program with the beautiful and historic Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, PA. Saturday morning, we have a feature film of The Boys, followed by one of their shorts. This show will be in the beautiful “1903 Theater” and on 35mm.

Sons of the Desert

Stanley (Stan Laurel) and Ollie (Oliver Hardy) want to attend the yearly convention of the Sons of the Desert, a fraternal group to which they belong. When Ollie’s wife, Lollie (Mae Busch), objects, he feigns sickness, and Stanley gets a doctor to prescribe a fake trip to Hawaii. After Stanley and Ollie revel with the Sons of the Desert, they return home to find out the ship they were supposedly on has sunk in a typhoon, and they’re forced to cover their tracks.
The Music Box

Gravity, an impatient professor and a sassy nursemaid hinder movers (Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy) trying to deliver a player piano to an upstairs address.
