SYNOPSIS

Adapted from Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, It Ends with Us brings a story of love, trauma, and the difficult choices surrounding intimate partner violence to the screen. Blake Lively stars as Lily Bloom, a woman building a new life in Boston when she falls for charismatic neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni), only to find their relationship taking increasingly troubling turns that force her to confront painful patterns within her own family history. Directed by Baldoni and co-starring Jenny Slate and Brandon Sklenar, It Ends with Us examines the complicated emotional bonds that can make cycles of abuse so difficult to recognize and escape. This special screening will be presented in partnership with the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, whose representatives will be in attendance to help foster conversation around the issues raised by the film.
