Paradise City feat. A Virtual Q&A with Chuck Russell

Grady Craig Presents

About

Our 3rd Annual Charity Screening hosted by Grady Craig will showcase independent feature film Paradise City, directed by the legendary Chuck Russell, starring John Travolta and Bruce Willis. Following the film, Chuck will invite the audience to participate in a live, virtual Q&A. Through this event, audiences are supporting Hobart’s Run and the Colonial Theatre. Hobart’s Run is a non-profit whose mission is to create a clean and safe community; foster inclusivity; provide incentives for home ownership and property pride; and generate quality business development. The Colonial Theatre’s mission is to nurture community by celebrating the power of film and the performing arts to entertain, inform, and reveal meaning. This screening is a way of giving back to the entrepreneurial and artistic communities in the area.

SYNOPSIS

When bounty hunter Ian Swan (Bruce Willis) is shot and presumed dead after disappearing in Maui waters, Swan’s son Ryan, his ex-partner, and a local detective set out to find his killers. After being threatened by a ruthless power broker, it appears Ryan and his team are out of options — until an excursion to the closely guarded island community of Paradise City unites them with an unforeseen ally.

LOCAL PRODUCER GRADY CRAIG

Originally from Chester Springs, Grady arrived in Hollywood from an unusual vantage. He spent a decade building a Pennsylvanian landscaping company that helped pay for his education, first at The Hill School in Pottstown and then onto Boston College for undergrad. In 2018, that same small business afforded him the opportunity to accept an unpaid internship in Los Angeles and eventually sell the company to join BondIt Media Capital, a Santa Monica-based film, TV, and content financing firm, as one of their first employees. He now serves as BondIt’s Senior Vice President of Business Development and the President of its production arm, Buffalo 8. Across those two roles, he has supported 300+ film & television investments ($350M+ aggregate), overseen 3,600+ production services transactions ($30M+ aggregate), and continues to manage the interoperations across BondIt’s Family of Companies, including sister company ABS Payroll.
